I find the weather in the Netherlands very depressing, most of the time rainy and foggy. but despite of all the disadvantages of the weather, people know how to live here. I am still learning. I have been suffering some health issues due to flu and fever. At first, I thought it might be Covid but it is not. Due to the weather change and because I am new to this weather, my body is taking time to adjust here. My dog Gigi was sick, and I was busy with dealing with her sickness. I took her to the vet and took care of her. I will make a specific post talking about her sickness that I have found out recently. She is fine now but still she needs extra care.
Not all days are bad days, some days are good. Recently I went to Amsterdam. I wanted to take a walk there for no reason. Amsterdam is one of the most famous cities in the world and people all over the world come here for different reasons. I personally feel that this city has almost everything to offer everybody. No matter whether it is Saturday or a busy Monday, Amsterdam remains crowded and busy always. Most people come here for pleasure and work purposes, some come for shopping as well.
The holiday season, black Friday deals, and thanksgiving made this city crowded now. People don't care whether the weather is sunny or rainy, they just love to explore the beauty of Amsterdam. I still don't know many things about Amsterdam. A lot of locations are still hidden from me. I need to dig those hidden gems but slowly.
The city is getting ready for the holiday season and new year's eve. I thought this would be the best time to do some street photography using my phone. Taking night photos is always challenging but this time I took it as fun. November- December, the city will look magical and gorgeous because of the enormous lights and Christmas decorations.

The beautiful Basilica of Saint Nicholas (catholic church) that I always see when I head back to the central station. I have never been inside the church, I heard it's nice. Maybe one day I will go there but not now.
I am not a professional photographer, I took these photos to represent the city through my eyes. I try to see this city differently, I want to understand this big, famous city.
