HEY FAM, HOPE YOU ARE HAVING A GREAT DAY...
Today we went to a new place to meet an organization. I had no idea what was all about until I reached there and meet them. Basically, this organization is trying to help those who fleed from Ukraine due to the war both mentally and emotionally. They are known as the "Salvation Army", an international NGO that helps people in need. They try to connect people, basically, they create connections between those who need help and who are willing to help. Also, they provide a lot of information related to the problems and try to solve them if possible. Besides they also provide free clothes by providing 10 euro gift cards where Ukrainians can shop for clothes from their closet.
I was silent today, completely silent because I was concentrating on their briefing and was trying to understand what the organization was all about. Many Ukrainians were there. In general, it was really a great initiative for all the war survivors. It's a church though but not like the usual church, on Sunday church activities happen and on weekdays anybody can go there. They will start dutch language classes the next week and will give moral support who need it.
I have got a few clothes for myself and introduced myself to everyone who was present today. Probably soon I will go there again.
I had a good day there and was able to connect with many people...
