I never thought I am going to write this post where I have to compare Bangladesh Vs Ukraine. Bangladesh is my homeland, my entire family, friends live there and till now I was hoping that all will be safe. I am very worried about my dad because he is 58+ years old and also a patient of diabetics. My stress is pretty simple, I am very worried for my dad because he is old enough now and hard for him to deal with this situation because he has to take care of my entire family including my sister.
To be honest I never feel so broken until today. My concern as an elder daughter for him is natural. When this pandemic COVID19 spread I was in fear to be honest. I had no idea how to deal with this situation, money crisis plus self-quarantine life. I tried to stay positive but inside I felt broken staying away from my family.
My dad is still doing fine and my younger sister taking care of him. But still, we both stay in fear because of my dad's age. He has to go out for weekly grocery, to pay bills and bank stuff.
The reason for writing this post is, I was not aware of the number of infected cases of Corona in Bangladesh. Well, I was too busy counting the numbers of Ukraine cases and Bangladesh cases were out of my brain. And my dad haven't discussed about it with me as well. Maybe he thought that if he discusses this situation with me, I will do tension.
Total cases :
Let's look at the total number of confirmed infected cases from both countries.

The current number of infected confirmed cases from Bangladesh 7667 where the number of infected cases from Ukraine is 10,406. Now, here is the thing, I feel Bangladesh hasn't enough proper medical facility to test this pandemic corona plus Bangladesh has a large population, 161.4 million, actually overpopulated country. And the most worrying factor is not everyone is cautious or aware of this pandemic disease.
So, I know this number will increase in Bangladesh.

Let's look at the Daily case number of both countries.

If you compare to both graph you will see that the number of Daily cases in Bangladesh is high than in Ukraine till today. In Ukraine, daily case numbers are decreasing slowly but in Bangladesh, it is highly increasing which is a noticeable thing.

So far the number of deaths in Bangladesh is 168 and in Ukraine 261. Recovered in Ukraine is so far 1,238 wherein Bangladesh, it is only 160 among 7k+. And I am guessing that these deaths will increase because it's just a beginning for Bangladesh.
The good news is both countries are getting help from China so hope Corona will stop spreading in Bangladesh soon but fear is it's not gonna be so easy for a populated, dense country like Bangladesh.
I really don't know what should I say, how I should feel because I just feel worst day by day because of this situation. Anything can happen in Bangladesh.
Meanwhile, the virus infection among doctors and healthcare personnel has been spreading rapidly raising deep concern. At least 57 nurses have been infected while 270 others are in quarantine across the country. One physician has died and at least 170 doctors have been infected as of Monday, as well. source
My question is, how will Bangladesh survive where doctors, nurses are already infected...
