We are Team Buucheeks, an all-girl team from Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women (IGDTUW). The team members- Prisha, Lakshika, Aarohi, and Parul, are passionate about leveraging technology to empower artisans and celebrate the rich cultural heritage of handicrafts. We are dedicated to creating कलाKARI - a blockchain-based e-commerce website for handicrafts - that not only provides a platform for artisans to showcase their talents but also fosters sustainability, inclusivity, and economic empowerment in the handmade goods market.
We got to know about Hive during the pursue of our interest in blockchain technology and decentralized platforms. As we explored various blockchain projects and communities, we came across discussions and articles mentioning Hive as a decentralized social media and content platform. Intrigued by its unique approach to content creation, rewards, and governance, we decided to delve deeper into understanding how Hive operates and its potential impact on the digital landscape.
