🎸 Guitar Cover: UFO - On with the Action (Solo 1) 🎸

the last days I was busy rehearsing the solo 1 of the UFO song "On with the Action".

It took a while until the muscle memory of my fingers had stored the sequence. I had some problems with the coordination of my right and left hand when striking the strings. Normally I strike the strings with alternating strokes. With this lick, however, that led to me hitting the strings repeatedly into space when changing strings. So now I hit the four problematic notes "up-up-down-down". To do this, I first had to reduce the speed of the lick to 50% again until the muscle memory of my fingers had stored the new sequence, then the tempo was increased by 10% every day.

Etwas Probleme hatte ich mit der Koordination von rechter und linker Hand beim Anschlagen der Saiten. Normalerweise schlage ich die Saiten mit Wechselschlag an. Bei diesem Lick hat das aber dazu geführt, dass ich beim Wechseln der Saiten immer wieder ins Leere geschlagen habe. Deshalb schlage ich die vier problematischen Noten jetzt "up-up-down-down" an. Dazu musste ich die Geschwindigkeit des Licks erst mal wieder auf 50% reduzieren, bis das Muskelgedächtnis meiner Finger die neue Sequenz abgespeichert hatte, dann wurde das Tempo jeden Tag um 10% erhöht.}

Drums, bass and keyboard are played by the computer or GuitarPro. The computer does that quite well. I got the sheet music from ultimate-guitar.com. Now I just need someone to provide the vocals. If someone wants to do it, just let me know. Maybe @ravenmus1c can make a remix of the song or provide me with a cool synth track? But 70s rock is probably not so their metier 😁

Vielleicht kann ja @ravenmus1c auch einen Remix aus dem Song machen oder mir einen coolen Synthi-Track zur Verfügung stellen? Aber 70er Jahre Rock ist vermutlich nicht so ihr Metier 😁}

So next I'll get to work on the main solo, although I won't have a chance with the second fast part. Maybe I can simplify it a bit or just shorten it.
