Hello guys greatings to you all, hope you are doing well today?. It's my very first post in this community and I must say am very delighted to be her so I welcome you all to my blog. On my very first post today I will be talking about the stress Nigeria Bank's and Police causing individuals including me, so let get down to business.
The issue of Bank's in the country is turning to something else I must say am not finding it funny at all be because it's really affecting me greatly both in my business and everyday activity. Every since the cashless policy started I have been transferring with my phone but for the past two weeks now I have not been able to transfer or withdrew money from my account just because of a particular amount tat was transferred to my account.
In just a month ago my account was blocked over the same amount so I went to the bank for them to upgrade my account because it was a student account and it took me more than three weeks before they could attend to me and now the same problem again over the same amount so I don't really understand what the problem is this time around, it is that they didn't upgrade the account or what happened this time around.
This is what I have been going to the bank for the past two weeks to know ooo but up till now I have not gotten any answers to my question because the bank have refused to open, the most annoying part is that the bank am using is located in another community different from mine because I opened it when I still living in Lagos so my transport to that community is one thousand nair (1000) so that is the amount have been wasting.
I was thinking this week will be different since the election is over so I asked my boyfriend's brother to take me there with his motorcycle because am tried of wasting my money so I went there yesterday but they didn't open and that really got me angry but I was later informed that yesterday was a public holiday so I decided to go today maybe there will open. On our way going we got to where police officer use to stand sometimes so they stop and us and started asking of the motorcycle papers.
I was already very angry when I left home so with the anger in me and asked him if a motorcycle paper has now turned to a car paper that is meant to be caring about so he laughed and asked me if am the owner then I said yes. He later turned to my boyfriend's brother and asked him if he his the owner then he told him it's his elders own, the police officer now turned to me that why will I say it's mine when it's not mine and I was like oga my boyfriend's motorcycle is also mine.
The police officer got upset and asked me not to make such statement again that instead of me to start begging am running my mouth and I was like why should I beg you,so he said we should get down from the motorcycle and provide the papers if not he will take us to the station. I was about calling my boyfriend when someone we know just arrived so the man and the lady beg the police officer to allow us go that we are his people, so the police officer was reporting me to him that I was misbehaving so the man asked me to tell him sorry so he can allow us to go.
For peace to rain I told him sorry and he said my sorry won't work unless I give him money and I was like me I don't have money to give you oo as you can see am on my way to the bank, so he said we can't go unless we give him money so the man give him money and he allowed us to go. The whole thing has already increased my anger but it got worst when I got to the bank but they didn't open, I couldn't even say a word I just turned back home. When I got home I prepared tasty palm oil straw and rice to eat just to quancy the anger in me and I diluted it with a cool tiger nut drink.
Having a great meal after such a long day is very necessary just to easy the stress but on a serious note the government should please work on this issue as soon as possible because it's really not going on well and lots of business owners are not opening their shops this period due to lack of cash and poor sales even with the transfer that they say will work it's not working properly.
