They invent a "digital condom" that guarantees more pleasure
Three investigators from the company of Georgia Tech University (United States) have invented a "digital condom" that is an erotic toy that provides small electrical impulses, so that it provokes greater pleasure during relationships Sexual. It has been marketed under the name of "Electric Eel".
Although at first glance it resembles a sock, it is formed with a conductive tissue that is placed in the penis (fastened with a velcro) and has a "microcontroller" that allows to send short electric impulses of low intensity.
According to one of its creators, Andrew Quitmeyer, it is an "open source digital condom to improve sexual pleasure, although it does not prevent the transmission of diseases or pregnancies." The inventors themselves have guaranteed their effectiveness because they have tested them themselves and ensure that their use is pleasurable.
The idea of creating this device is inspired by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, as this NGO tends to create different types of condoms that improve pleasure during sexual intercourse. But in turn, they tend to work with the conception of safety, to reduce unwanted pregnancies and sexually transmitted diseases.
"The electric Ánguila" has already started to market for 350 dollars. The company expects to raise funds to guarantee their continuity. Quitmeyer admits that they are in an initial phase of research and development, but announces that "when they get more funding they will pursue larger targets" by manufacturing more tools like the "Electric Eel".
