Peeping through the beginning of this year, many things have happened and in other ways, many things I have achieved and am grateful for because if not for God, I wouldn't be able to achieve them. One of my achievements this year is unlocking a step that is opening another one for me very soon. I will be a Corper very soon and I remembered how it happened and how I made up my mind to get there.
Some years back when I was in Junior Secondary School, I was with my mom in the shop on a Thursday afternoon when I saw some people dressed in Corper's uniform. They were returning from their CDS (Community Development Service) activity that day and I love that uniform. Then, I said in my mind that I will study hard and become a Corper too.
Despite the drawbacks and challenges along the way, I finished University this year and when I saw my last results, I felt within me that this is an achievement and a goal has been unlocked, opening another door for what I ever wanted right from when I was very young.
I'm grateful for life most especially and so happy that here I am, achieving all of these by myself. Just like I used to say, being independent isn't a small task but thank God I spent this year smoothly and achieved things my mates couldn't achieve.
My big sis was trying to compare me with those of my age who have gone beyond me but I also made her realize that, though this isn't where I ought to be but I am not where I used to be before. Still, I am happy for the kind of person I am today because one thing in my life is that I will never compare myself to those who have gone past me.
Then, if I do, what about those who are dead? What about those who didn't achieve what I already got? What about those who didn't have the opportunity I got? What about those who couldn't continue schooling because no one was there to help them? What about those who died in my department and couldn't finish with us? The list goes on and on!
Something we should always do is to remember that comparison is very bad and can steal away those good opportunities you should have gotten but because you are busy comparing yourself to someone who made it through a way you didn't understand and trying to go through the way made you lose everything.
I am happy that I pushed myself to be the best this year and till today, I smile and appreciate God for making them happen.
Hive is one of the opportunities I got to focus more on, this year. I knew how hard I went on this Blockchain because I believe in the future of Hive. I took it seriously at the beginning of this year and I am happy I achieved many things I set for myself here.
The wonderful friends, I met on this Blockchain are an achievement for me. Through them, I got to know a lot of things. My closeness to 
I can't remember how I entered the Neoxian city and became a citizen but it was through the connection of friends on this Blockchain and it has been amazing all the way.
I won't fail to mention the Hive Learners community because it's an achievement for me to be consistent in the community all through the year. I participated in all the weekly edition and the support have been gigantic. Thanks to 
Being able to achieve all of these is happiness to me today and I will forever be grateful and happy for the benefit.
