I have always heard and seen people talking about working from home and how it's so convenient for them especially being their own bosses without been enforced different rules on them.

They can resume work anytime of the day and take a break without taking permission from anyone. They own everything about the work. They may decide to go on a full break for a day or two, just to relax and take enough break. At least the body also needs rest.

Ever since I have met wonderful platforms, I have developed interest in working from home. Just with my laptop/phone with data and a stable network plus full electricity for you.... You are good to go.

I already made up my mind to resume fully into blogging when I graduate and the income I get, save for my NYSC in coming months. I already understood the power in saving and also investing, but I had rather do both at least especially having an emergency savings that would help me when I need it.

After I graduate, I wanted to at least get a work to complement my blogging so I wouldn't be staying indoor for months but to have somewhere I would be going to in the morning and returning back in the afternoon.

I found a vacancy for the post of teaching being posted in my school group and I chatted the person who sent it up. He gave me a number and told me to call the person which I did that night.

I explained myself to her and she told me to write an application letter to be submitted the following Monday. Well, I did went to the school and submitted my letter and resume, which they told me they would call me soon.

While going to the school, my mind wasn't there anymore because the school is very far from home and I would be spending over $2 (#1000+) for transportation daily. When I calculated for 20 days in a month for school, it was like $20 upward.

I don't know how much the salary would be but to think of it, it won't go beyond $40-50 for a degree holder like me in such city and I still don't think they can afford paying me that amount.

When I removed my transportation fee from it, how much left wouldn't even be enough to buy foodstuffs. I know how much I get weekly blogging and to say of these private schools, they will drain your energy for the salary to be paid to you and again, I won't even have time to work online most time.

I resorted in not applying again even if they call me later because for now, I can rely on Hive and other platforms and also make sure I apply wisdom in saving especially for when I would need it.

A colleague of mine even teased me that someone like me doesn't need to work because I am already a blogger who works and earn with her phone and laptop. What else do I need than to resume anytime, any day as I desire to. I just smile though.

For now, I just would go with blogging and spending more time for myself than waking up early in the morning to get to my workplace early and at the end of the month, I receive little salary for the work done. I'd rather stay at home rather than inconveniencing myself.
