You will agree with me that music sometimes is like a prayer. Speaking words of encouragement to yourself and professing some affirmation through songs is the power of music. When you can get the right music that speaks to you at that moment, you will understand that music is powerful and also a means to get to God in prayer.
One way I feel at ease with myself and give some words of hope is by listening to songs that talk about my present moment. Once my heart can capture that particular song, I would want to keep singing it till when I am sure of getting enough of it. This was my situation some days ago.
I couldn't stop listening to that song and it was my first time coming across it — It's one of Hillsong's worship songs. Believe me, these people are highly inspired by God because I don't think I have heard or listened to any of their songs and it doesn't speak to me or give me that encouragement that I need at that moment.

Some days ago, I woke up so early and at that moment, I needed a song to bring me to praise God. I searched through my Spotify app, looking for the right song for that moment. Then, a suggestion was brought which I played it. Plugging my earpiece, it was another beautiful moment entirely.
This particular song is just the best for me then and I smiled praising God. The lyrics, especially the chorus got me into dwelling on much of how God has come through for me, and adoring Him with this kind of song is more than what He deserved. You should try this song and you will surely love it too.
STILL BY HILLSONG.
This song reminds me of the storm in the Bible where Jesus commanded the storm to be still and there was peace. Even His disciples were astonished at such a miracle.
This song is a prayer if you do see it that way, of course, I do! The author is telling God that no matter how the ocean rises and the thunder roars, He will always be reminded that God is the king over the flood.
Remember the scripture in Isaiah where God assured us that even when we pass through the water, it will not drown us. When we go through the fire, it will not burn us because He is with us? Therefore, we should not be worried or afraid.
When we believe that God is bigger than whatsoever problems we are facing and have the belief that He is there to save and help us, we won't have to be worried over anything. Here is another beautiful song you should keep listening to and taking as a prayer to God.

I would end this with this beautiful song by Lukas. This song talks about loving someone and you truly mean it. When you love someone, you wouldn't want to hurt them, isn't it? If you love someone, you wouldn't want to lose them but to open your heart and embrace them, no matter what happens on the way.
I want you to think as fast to that moment you have been hurt so badly and you decided to lock yourself up and decided not to have anything do with them. Though it's so difficult to forgive such a person considering what they have done to you. But if you would want to agree with me, if truly you love them, you would forget and forgive them. When you love, you won't even think of losing them completely but let it go, and then move on with peace in your heart.
