I promised to write a funny scene at the camp and here is it today. First thing first, I never knew this is how camp activities would be. Imagine just having time for myself after the stress since morning. I couldn't even pick up my phone to type anything, I had to relax before typing this at 8 p.m. I miss Hive 馃槩

Okay, I digress, but is it not good as I narrate a little about camp life? Maybe I would have just stayed in my house if they had told me camp life is full of stress. Imagine being told that I came to a regimented camp for 21 days, which means I am being confined in the camp until after 21 days. Everything I do is based on directives, they tell me when to eat, sleep, walk, talk, etc. Another part is where I would be dressed like a white fowl for 21 days all through just like this one.

So, I got to camp on Thursday at 1 am, this was the final day for the October Zealy Campaign and I was rushing to meet up with the last space show on X. I had two big bags and a bucket with me and when I was given a bed to take to my hostel, you need to see how I struggled to carry everything and hurry up so I won't be late. At first, I couldn't carry it all at once, so, I dropped two bags with the officers while I carried the bed and my bucket to where I would be staying. I walked and kept walking, the road seemed to be long and I felt lost at some point. No one to direct me. I saw someone roaming around, who knows what he was looking for. I asked for where I was going and he directed me. It was a struggle that night as I walked twice which was over 30 minutes.

I couldn't even bathe as I was so tired. I managed to join the show. I spent over an hour and I couldn't control myself again, I went into dreamland straight away like someone who just carried full loads of firewood. I haven't familiarised myself with the system in the camp. Later, I heard these ladies as they were talking and laughing, they woke me up and when I checked the time, it was past 4 a.m. I only slept for an hour.

I was still in bed wondering what was happening when after a few minutes, I heard someone shouting, "Everybody fall out now" The lady kept repeating the word and I saw everyone shouting and rushing to wear their clothes. The voice which happened to be one of the platoon officers shouted again, "At the count of 5 and if anyone is still in the hostel, you will be punished."

Omg, come and see how I was trying to find something to wear as I still have my dirty clothes from the journey on. One of the ladies gracefully told me to be quick and that I must be out now. I rushed to find something to wear which was a boxer and singlet. I didn't even remember to lock my bags. I got to the assembly ground and was looking like a Lucozade boost. My mind was on those bags as I was over-worried because money was in one of them. I withdrew enough money that would last me for the whole camping time and if it got stolen, I am in trouble. I couldn't concentrate on what the instructors were guiding us on.

After 3 hours, we were dismissed for a break and also to have our breakfast. I rushed inside before anyone else and when I saw nothing had happened, I was relieved. Since then, I have scheduled my time in the morning as I would be up on time to fetch water and by the time it is 4:30 am, I am done as I would be waiting for the sound of the beagle at 5 am. By then, I would have locked my bags and got prepared without having to get worried over anything.

Camp life is hard and those armies do not give room for breathing space. Imagine raising my left leg for over 5 minutes before releasing us. Anyone found not doing it correctly would do a frog jump as a punishment. However, there was fun in it because I got to laugh when corpers did not get the steps of those activities.

That is all for now!!!
