Something I have never done on Hive which I will start now is to talk about my goals for each month; I only talk about it randomly and not monthly but I realize it is one way to keep track of my progress and check if I am still on the road to achieving my yearly goals or not. I also found out that it makes me happy doing this while I check back on how things went during the 30 or 31 days of the month.
Today is the 29th already and in two days, we will be ending January while moving on to the second month of the year. So far, this month has been the longest which indirectly has over 70 days in it, Lol. This is the month a lot of people are always scared of because they always look forward to salaries as they manage what they have while some already spent everything in December while merrying with friends and families forgetting that January is always a tough one, but for those who already made plans like myself are always on the safer side.
Oh yes, I already prepared myself for this and I never complained this month, I believe it is the same for many of us here. While there are those complaining and wishing the month ends so they could get a salary, some are busy enjoying themselves because of their plans and decisions they had made before now.
At least, January is packing its load, so, let's review some of my goals.
Guess what? I didn't withdraw from Hive this month at all and I have been more than happy because I could see the growth in my account. Thank God for the monthly allowance from both the state and federal governments where I am serving. Remember I talked about this last year how I would majorly focus on my Hive account and won't be withdrawing all the time this year because I have offline allowances to keep me hanging 馃檭
How has the month been in terms of my goal?

I ended last year with 3898 and till now, I have gathered 4080. For the past 28 days, I was able to gather 182 Hive Power including curation rewards. Though this may be small to some people, I see it as a little progress as I am not being stuck on the same number I started with. I am still left with 2920 Hive Power to achieve my 7000 HP goals by the end of the year which I believe would surpass. The current price of Hive makes it easier to accumulate more because as the price is very low, the quantity is much. So, gathering more now during the dip is an opportunity before we enter into the bull run season.

Slow and steady wins the race. Though I am moving slowly, it doesn't stop me from doing my part to save some HBD to achieve my goal by the end of the year. I could have saved more as I renewed my premium subscription on Inleo which is something amazing I am enjoying now. This month has been amazing because I was able to accumulate enough HBD which I converted into liquid Hive and also used some to buy other Hive Engine tokens like Leo and Neoxag. At the beginning of the year, I took some HBD to get a DVS token while earning some cents on my posts daily. I also believe will reach my target by the end of the year while taking advantage of the 20% interest rate.

So far, I managed to power up 370 Leo tokens during this month's Lpud which increased the number from its previous to the current one. Right now, I am buying some Leo little by little before the next LPUD in February. This is my secondary goal I am working on to achieve by the end of the year and I am left with 4155 Leo Power to achieve my target. The year is still young and I am hopeful of crossing this target. It is my joy to see my Leo Power grow in the community and I won't stop working towards it.
Lastly, my previous reputation was 72 and I managed to enter 73 some days ago which I am excited about. My goal is to get to 75 by the end of the year and the way I am seeing it, it would be achievable. I have been consistent in posting daily and also doing my best with engagement on the platform.
In summary, this month has been amazing with some progress on my goals. The goal is to continue building my account while also increasing my engagement level as this is paramount to my reputation and influence on the chain. In a few days, I will be working towards achieving another great chunk so that at the end of February, I will be here to talk about my progress.
