Let me answer the question by chefqueen@chefqueen,

Have you ever outgrown someone you once thought you'd never lose? It can be relative, family, friends, neighbors, your role model, literally anybody, let's hear from your own perspective

The truth is, I have, but with friends and neighbours, not with family, because no matter what, one cannot lose them, except to death.

Growth is something essential, and there will be a time when we'll move on a different path when our goals do not align anymore, and everyone needs to move to pursue their career and interests. So, yes, I have outgrown friends and neighbours because I discovered we cannot keep together as everyone needs to move on, and there is nothing bad in that. We can only wish ourselves the best, and when, in life, we meet again, we tend to catch up with gists and see we are doing fine. And for others who would prefer to be limited and do not want to scale up, we can't keep being with them anymore so they don't affect us negatively.
