Another lesson I learnt here is that it is always good to belong to a church and be consistent there because some days, we would need help and it will be easier for the church to raise help through God for us. That was a big risk you took. I can never use my school fees for such a thing unless I have spare cash aside to replace it if something unexpected happened.
Thank God for the help raised by the pastor to help you pay your school fees and house rent. It wouldn´t have been funny.
