It's yet another Tuesday for all music lovers which is the #ttt also known as #threetunetuesday which has been on and hosted by @ablaze for a very long time and it feels good to keep up with it ever since I started with them. This is the 74th week already and the community is growing every day. All thanks to Ablaze for the idea.
If you are new to my blog and would love to know what this is all about, of course, I will be glad if you can go through the jist below or try clicking on this link to take you to the original post where you'd get the whole gist.
Every Tuesday I'm going to share 3 songs which I like to listen to and I invite your feedback in the comments below. Better still, why not have a blast of your own Three Tune Tuesday and mention me in the post and I'll come and find the post and upvote it.
One of the things I love doing when watching new movies is noticing and listening to the soundtracks because my pen and jotter are always available on my table to pen the songs down. I go for intriguing tracks though. So, be rest assured to recommend them here.
Someone recommended a movie to me some weeks ago but due to my busyness on Hive and other things, I couldn't watch until a few days ago and I enjoyed it so much. The movie is titled “Entergalactic”. It's an animated movie and very inspiring. You should watch it if you haven't.
Kid Cudi played most of the songs in the movie and I will be picking two of them here while the last one came unexpectedly while I was cooking.
“Living my Truth” by Kid Cudi
This song came right after a statement I penned down from the movie. Jabari just met a girl whom he loved but was somehow doubted by the girl when his ex sent a nude picture on his phone. The girl was able to go through the content and even saw that he went to meet his ex. She felt bad and stopped seeing Jabari.
He went to meet his friends and this statement made him determined to find closure with his ex-girlfriend to prove that he loved the new girl.
Love is a motherfucker, it'll find us all. It'll hurt us all. But, it is the only thing that'll save us all. If you got it, hold onto it.
As he was leaving them, the song was played and that was a perfect one for that scene when he was heading to let his ex-girlfriend know he doesn't want them to be together but as friends, since he had someone else.
“Can't shake her” by Kid Cudi
This was played at the end of the movie. Love is sweet but there are times we go through challenges for the one we love and if we are opportune to be together again, it is the best feeling and moment ever. Jabari held onto the love so tightly that he was never letting her go again. I love the song!
“Wonder Woman” by John Legend
Remember I said I was cooking when this song played itself from the list of songs I chose? I went for mood-booster songs from Spotify. This is the reason I love the app. There are different categories of music depending on your mood at that moment. I got a common song while I left it to keep playing while I was busy preparing my meal.
I found myself listening deeply to this particular song especially knowing it's a song praising women for being wonderful.
John Legend celebrated his ninth wedding anniversary with his wife some weeks ago I guess, and he produced this song to praise his wife for being such a wonderful woman.
According to him, he is awestruck by her strength. The sacrifices many women go through each day aren't gone unnoticed by real men like John who truly appreciate their wonderful women.
So, here comes the end of my #ttt for this week. I hope you find those tunes worth listening to because they are to me 😊
