Many times I have imagined myself having a sort of power where I would just appear at a place to show what I am capable of just to deal with some set of people causing discomfort to others. These people are so heartless, cruel and unconcerned to treat humanity in a harsh way for their own selfish desires and it hurts me to see these concerned victims being maltreated like that. There are some people who really do need to be handled and dealt with so they could feel the pain of others they are inflicting pain on. Funny enough, these people cannot try taking a pinch on their bodies but derive pleasure from hurting another.
Isn't it funny to see someone who killed and when caught, begging for mercy? This is why some people resort to jungle justice to fight for those who couldn't and are affected.
I would have loved to have an invisible power where no one would see me but will be able to hear my voice and feel my presence when threatening them with a change of heart. With my invisibility, I could access power, fame, freedom to do anything anytime, and most especially become a heroine who wouldn't be seen or recognized. But I love it that way! I don't like to do things for the show of it. I don't want public recognition because this is what some people do; they want it as they crave importance. At least that is what John Dewey said; the desire to be important is the deepest urge in human nature.
When people help, they want to be seen. When they save a life, they want to feel the importance of people and that is because it's in them to feel which I wouldn't say it's wrong.
Having an invisible power will make me help people around me for a day. Not everyone is living a comfortable life. People are struggling, and suffering and wish for a life where they'd enjoy the moment, but because of poverty, they couldn't. I´d loved to show my help in my own way and I think this power will help me achieve my aim without being seen or recognized.
With my power, I can dash into the houses of our greedy politicians who have kept money in their custody and are unconcerned about many citizens. I would pack their money and drop them at the doorstep of every house going through challenges financially. I would visit some hospitals where they'd rather wait till the victim's family has deposited money before they commence treatment on them.
Do you know that some hospitals are the cause of many patients giving up the ghost because they refused to save a life first before the money is settled? They would rather stand on their ground while waiting for deposits first. I will reach out to the doctors and nurses and threaten them to start treatment or else, they might be dealt with. Well, one wouldn't blame them because they have experienced unpaid bills after a patient has been treated but it doesn't stop them from saving a life first, at least they did their best.
Another thing I might do before the day ends is to help a few students gather the information they couldn't have access to ordinarily. Some lecturers can frustrate the lives of students when they are given some tasks to do when they themselves cannot try them. A neighbour of mine has been lamenting since last week of how her lecturer gave each of them a task to get a particular date or a newspaper individually. For example, hers was to get a punch newspaper with the date — 12th of February, 2021. Please where would she go to start searching for a newspaper with a particular date on it?
This is where my power will come in handy, I would help her get it where it's impossible for her to access it, then drop it at her doorstep or on her table with my voice saying "you can go ahead to submit this", and when she reply with, "thank you, I am grateful for this difficult task that could have been for me but you made it easier, who are you please?" Then I will disappear and that is the end 😅
