One thing I love about Music is the calming mood it brings to you, especially when you are feeling demotivated, discouraged, unhappy, rejected, heartbroken, and so on. Music has a way of healing our wounded hearts and gives us that therapeutic massage in our minds. Music is therapy and you will agree with me. Music like no other can enable us to travel to the past while reminiscing on amazing memories because those words written in lyrics have a way to give us a similar experience too.
Music is a way to communicate our feelings, excitement, mood, etc. When we listen attentively to those lyrics, we understand what the singer is talking about. Through music, we tend to know more about people's lives and stories. We can get the message clearly of how to live our best life, especially by listening to those who sing motivational songs.
I enjoy music a lot, there's no doubt and the way I feel energized and would bounce back to being motivated to get the task done cannot be quantified. Music has a way into my fragile heart and makes it stronger to handle the day.
I am eager to share my amazing tunes with you all for the #threetunetuesday hosted by @ablaze again and I am hoping you will enjoy it as usual. So, come with me as we travel into the world of these amazing songs for just a few minutes out of your time. I know we all are running out of time, but it would be my pleasure to enjoy these lovely tunes. Thanks in advance 😊
I found this song on a friend's WhatsApp status some hours ago and it lured me to check it out. Listening to the song and reading the lyrics, I got a similar experience too. I remembered when I was a little child, my parents never missed observing morning and night devotion and it became tiring at some point. Mom would make sure we go to church every Sunday. Grandma never allowed us to go late to church in the village as she believes in punctuality in the house of God. When I moved in with my aunt in the year 2010, I was always following her to weekly services without missing any.
Before all of these, I had wondered why they would be forcing us to do what we don't want. I never gave ‘talking to Jesus’ through prayer a chance, until I grew up to realize the importance of prayer. Today, I am thankful to my family for pushing us to go to church and making us realize how prayer is so powerful.
Brandon also talked about his childhood and how his grandma and mom made him understand how talking to Jesus feels calming. He didn't understand then, but when he grew up, his understanding was opened, trying to give the same step to his children. I was smiling as he was sharing this story in the form of music and making me go back to memory lane.
Brandon's songs are relational which I love too. The House of Miracles is a place where all attention is focused while waiting for the presence of the Almighty who can perform all kinds of miracles where all you are required to do is to have faith and believe that God is able and all things are possible with Him. House of Miracles is a house of prayer. It doesn't matter wherever you are, even with your family, miracles can happen if you truly have faith and channel your focus to God who is ready to come down into your midst as you invite His presence.
I have seen lots of miracles and I am not an exception. I knew how life was for me growing up and as a little child. I had an ailment back then when I was very young and this chased people including my family members away from me. I have been tagged as a spirit girl who would soon die, but here I am today. All I could say was that my life became a miracle where those who were scared of moving close to me are the ones wanting me. All these couldn't have happened if not for prayer. Prayer works if you believe. I am a living testimony today.
In everything, give thanks to God! I have always been grateful for all I have been blessed with. There was a time I only focused on what I do not have because others did, while I lament and complain, not knowing it is through giving thanks you have more. I have enjoyed showing gratitude to God as I believe more would come because God is always pleased when we appreciate the things we have rather than complain of things we do not have which could eventually make us lose out on a lot of opportunities awaiting us. I want you to know that in the place of gratitude, an abundance of blessings is available meant for the children of God.
