Intense soundtracks from ‘Day Shift’ for Three Tune Tuesday
Who has seen the movie “Day Shift” on Netflix? If you haven't seen it, you are missing something. Trust me, for me to start talking about it here, it means the movie is great to watch and not something you should miss.
Day Shift is one of Netflix's biggest movies of summer 2022. It is an action-comedy movie featuring Jamie Foxx, who played the role of Bud or Jablonski, and Snoop Dogg, who played the role of Big John.
I don't want to dwell too much about this movie so I wouldn't be spoiling for those who haven't seen it, but I will only be talking about the part I love and which is connected to today's #threetunetuesday or #ttt
There were 16 soundtracks, that were so intense in the movie and I will be picking just three for #ttt.

This movie was done in California and what caught my attention was how they described LA precisely; The people living in LA know how to party, and they have different matching music to hit your eardrum. Are you already thinking of flying there? 😝

The beginning of the movie got me hooked as I couldn't wait to see the end. Bud disguised and lied to his wife to be a pool cleaner, but was a vampire hunter. He was hustling to meet the deadline of his daughter's school fees or else, he was going to lose his wife and daughter. So, he went hunting for vampires, killed an old lady vampire and took out her fangs. According to him, that was a lot of money for him in the market.
After fighting the vampires inside the house, he zoomed off and that was when the song was played.
Trouble was already looming for Bud. I'm trying to tempt you in watching this interesting movie already 😉

This is one of the soundtracks I love. Maybe it's because of how the scene was played, which I couldn't stop rewinding until I decided to keep watching.
Now, for this part, Bud couldn't get the money complete, and he sought his friend's help (Big John) who helped him get back to his former job where he was suspended. According to the boss, he would be allowed to work the day shift and not the night, and someone would have to be on the field with him reporting back to the company. So, if he commits any error or violates any of the Union's codes, he would be removed completely.
Seth was the guy who was ordered to be with him, but he seems not to understand Bud's hustling and how much he needed this money through hunting vampires so that he wouldn't lose his family. All his life, he's been grinding but someone is about to implicate him.
He tried to explain to Seth who was bent on recording his activities and how he was trying to violate the code of the Union.
Was he able to report Bud? What happened? You have to find out yourself 😉
Body counts in the house by Body Count
This was another soundtrack I enjoyed in the movie, especially the scene. I love action movies and I wouldn't be surprised to listen to the intense soundtrack accompanying the scene.
For this part, two good vampires (who were they?) joined hands together with Bud to save his family (wife and daughter) after they have been taken by the leader of the vampire.
Remember, Bud killed an old lady vampire at the beginning? That was the daughter of the vampire leader he killed and now, she is wanting revenge by making Bud's daughter a vampire and killing his family.
They attacked the vampire's building, killed some and then, Big John showed up. Did they make it? Was Bud able to get his family back?
Okay, that's enough for today and leaving you to go enjoy the movie and have fun with the soundtracks too.
