Can you see my reputation?
It's showing 64 already....Yaaaay
If I had known the reputation on Hive is based on engagement, perhaps, I would have upped my game and would have moved higher than this.
Do you know it took less than a month to get to 64 from 63?
Yes, I was monitoring it alongside my engagement since it changed from 62-63 in the beginning of April. I was checking its movement from the Peakd App and I realized it was my engagement that made it move faster.
When this month started, my reputation moved from 62 to 63 and when I clicked on the number, it showed me some digits which made me noticed, it can only keep moving if I engage more and I determined to change from 63 to 64 but I never knew it would be this quick and just few hours left for the end of the month.
I love engaging a lot especially in the aspect of commenting on posts because I am not always satisfied with upvoting alone unless the post isn't something I understand and most times, I can read a particular post more than twice and still won't get anything in it. That is one reason I don't comment on posts.
Another thing is if I have been tired commenting and engaging, I might just upvote other posts without even reading because of the stress.
I have another platform where I am always active and since I have joined hive, and being a moderator in a community, I have been spending more hours on both and most times, I spend more hours on hive depending on the number of posts to visit.
I should have had close to 70 reputation points, I guess if only I had been active like this since I created the account.
I would have realized that the reputation is determined by our engagement if I had paid attention to it just like I did at the beginning of this month, but I guess everything happens for a reason and I have learned a lesson already.
This made me remember the defunct Uptrennd platform then. I knew I had a higher reputation there, because of my activeness that I was even taken as one of the guardians but little did they know, I was just an ordinary member trying to work hard to survive.
Just because I was seen as a hard working user, many even suggested I become a guardian because I was always active, especially on Tuesdays where we receive double of what we earned.
One thing about me is that I love to go extra miles to be active in a particular thing and I dedicate myself fully to it without giving up.
When you know you are earning for your work, won´t you try to focus and be hard working so that you can be happy your efforts paid off, instead of going through the shortcut of making it.
Ever since I have been blogging, I have never spammed the comment section or even plagiarize because I know they wouldn't help me improve and if I want to grow, I should do things in my own way, even if I am not doing it right in the beginning, but with consistency and perseverance, I will improve.
I learned many things on Uptrennd through @Dreemsteem and I received a certificate as a blogger from her. I worked hard for it and I earned it which makes me proud of my achievement.
Engagement is always important on every writing platform and you must be ready to improve with your original works and do not think things would always work in your favor through wrong means.
