Great Minds,
Most times what kill a man is not the danger eminent itself but the decision to leave the scene of danger vis-a-vis knowing what to do when the situation is still within control. Sometimes we allow the sweetness of a scene to carry us away till we reach a stage of no return. In this post I shall attempt to paint scenarios where our inability to step aside at the appropriate time caused severe damage. The right time to leave the scene would also be discussed.
CONSEQUENCES OF PASSING YOUR TIME

Imagine a man continue dancing when the music is stopped. It is either he is carried away with the music euphoria or he is probably insane not knowing what he was doing. In either ways, it is a show of shame and speak volume of poor judgement. When you stay passed your time in a place you lose vision and focus. There is an adage the "when a visitor stays too long he begins to eat the head of yam". Familiarity they said breed content. You don't continue to go pass your line in a bid to please someone or to show off. The extra moment may rubbish all the past success.
This story is very relevant relating to cryptocurrency trading. A lot of people that loss badly are those who don't know when to leave the scene. There is a prediction that a coin would rise and has good potential for buy. Then comes the advice, buy at so rate and sell at so rate. Luckily you bought the coin and behold the price soar even above the predicted rate. And it is now time to sell out but you refused still hoping perhaps it will increased further. All a sudden the price drop down and so down and you loss your money. The reason you lost is not because price went down but because you never knew when to leave the scene. Knowing when to leave the scene is as important as when you start or enter the scene.
Some of the consequences of not leaving the scene at the right time include;
- Loss of respect. You are well respected when you stay within your boundary. When you don't overdo things to show up. There is a diminishing returns that tend to drop progress or success including respect people have for you once you reach the peak of it.
- Loss of funds and resources. The moment you allow greed to take over you. It take you so high and crash you so down without remedy. Move out with an average profit while you strategize again. Stop hanging on to make more gain.
- Increased risk and can lead to severe damage and eventually death. When you passed the line and refuse to leave the scene at the right time. You are exposing yourself to danger. Any small deviation can lead to anxiety, depression and frustration if not properly handed.
WHEN TO LEAVE THE SCENE

The problem most times is the strength to take decision to leave the scene. You leave the scene when the ovation is loudest. When your value is still worthwhile. When you set a goal for yourself, don't passed it. If you win come back and restrategize. Don't be swiped over by the success and get carried away. Don't try to adjust when you need to leave the scene. Sometimes you need to face the situation headlong. There is this story of frog put inside a basin full of water. When the temperature of the water got a little higher, the frog instead of jumping out tried to adjust itself. Soon the temperature became high and higher and got to a point that the frog could not adjust itself again. It was then it decided to jump but unfortunately, it couldn't jump, it has lost all its strength adjusting. Finally the frog died. Obviously the frog died not because of the hot water but because it never knew when to leave the scene. It was busy adjusting itself. This is the same scenario with most of us. We keep adjusting instead of facing the situation outrightly and before we knew it is too late to leave the scene.
It is the desire to impress people, to get more, to please people that drive us beyond the limit. And each time you go pass the line and refuse to leave the scene at the appropriate time you end up losing out in the end.
Live sweet and enjoy life to the fullest.
