Great Minds,
I just collected my National identity card from the national identity management commission office. I registered for the card in August 2014 and since then the card was not ready. Just last week I got a text congratulating me that my card is ready. Hmmmm, I initially thought that the registration was no longer valid since it has taking long almost 4 years today. I felt that way because I saw some persons who registered just a year ago got theirs. So after four years of not receiving mine I was a kind of lost hope.
But today my hope is restored having received mine. I am excited about and can't wait to start using the card. From the look, the card promises to be fantastic with great features including MasterCard.
If this card work as stated on the paper is going to be a major bold step for Nigeria and Nigerians. With this information, I am encouraging as many Nigerians who are yet to register to do so, and for those who registered and yet to collect yours, don't be discouraged and keep the hope alive you will get it. Let's believe in our country again and soon we will get there.
I am a proud Nigerian.
