AT THE CENTRE OF IT ALL

Great Minds,
As I write this I remember the phrase in a book written by Chinua Achibe "Things Fall Apart" The phrase reads "Things fall apart the centre can not hold more arnachy is loosed upon the world" When the centre cannot hold it means things will fall apart. The world today, the life we live today is full of obstacles that is capable of falling things apart for an individual or an organization. As a matter of fact, a lot of lives have fallen apart and some are at the verge of falling apart as a result of poor foundation, what I called the centre. When the centre is weak, when what is holding you is not well formed or well in place, every small wind that shake you will pull you down. But when you have a strong centre, a solid foundation no matter the hurdles and punches of life, you will remain standing and unmovable like a house built on a rock that cannot be destroyed by the weather. So the question is what is at the centre of your life? Rightly put, who or what is the power behind your life? Where do you run to when the storm of life visit you and you are confused or frustrated?

I SEE JESUS AT THE CENTRE OF MY LIFE

I have been in despair and I have faced different challenges but at the centre of all I see JESUS. His name alone is strength and becomes the joy that pushes me through. One thing I have come to discover is that Jesus knows all about me and he is able to walk me through all. He forms my centre and each time I call Him He answers, he had not failed and had no record of failure. This is my confidence that each time I called He answers. When you make Him the centre of your life by believing and trusting your life in Him, though you may face challenges there is the assurance that you will overcome and come out stronger and better.
The world today is full of evils and one needs a strong centre. It is interesting to note that there are many centres and powers that be where people build their support around. It is also important to state that most of these supports are sinking sands. No! Not most but all other support or centre outside Jesus are sinking sands. It is only a matter of times all the things will apart when the centre is wack. Jesus is the only one sure foundation, the one solid centre that holds and stand tall forever.
