I remember I was going to switch out a headlight for my 2003 Turbo beetle and I thought to myself this is easy I used to work on Beatles of my dad all the time. Of course they were older ones. I had to remove the engine shield especially disassemble the entire light assembly, Bring it out and forward Khama and then get into the light housing and change this little bulb. They wanted almost $300 to do the job with labor and shit. In 2010.. fuck that. Unfortunately we all fell for the cash for clunkers gimmick. Those were the good cars. Those are the ones that you didn't have to have all these kind of hydraulic tools and the compression tools to get into the engine. I used to own a 69 beetle so easy to work on I loved it Baja Cali style… I miss driving. And miss working on cars.IMG_53435446568970.jpeg
