A large number of people in this contemporary world would like to know about the future. They desire to know whether they are going to be rich, successful, healthy as well as they are going to be free of problems. Due to this need, there are those people who go to fortune tellers, prophets or spiritualists so that they can tell them what will occur tomorrow, but the bible tells us that the future is actually in the hands of God.
In Isaiah 46: 10, implies that God alone is the only person who knows what is going to occur in the future. Human beings are limited and God knows it all past, present, and future.
The Bible tells us to leave our lives in the hands of God instead of having to worry about tomorrow.
God is asking us to live right now and not worry about tomorrow and what we cannot change.
The future is not something that should be feared by the believers. God already vowed good plans to His children. The book of Jeremiah 29:11 tells us that the plans of God are not plans of calamity but plans of good hope. Although our life becomes challenging, we have to believe that God is pointing our paths.
Therefore, it is not that important to know the future as it is to know God. When we have been walking with Him, His word and following His promises, we can live with the serene soul knowing that we are safe in His hands and that our future is guaranteed.
