At this point I think that all Democrats would celebrate if Joe backed out and let someone else have a go but who could that be at this point?

Not all (many Democrats I’ve seen on social media are deeply suspicious about the motives of suggestions from CNN and other MSM media sources that Biden should drop out). And FWIW, I think that if by chance Biden were to drop out, Democrats would be making a massive strategic blunder by nominating anyone other than Harris. Sure, MAGA would pillory her. But if Democrats were to ditch Biden and then throw Kamala Harris under the bus, they might end up getting three or four votes for their ticket from Black women; the rest would likely just sit out the election entirely. They probably couldn’t stomach voting for Trump, but they’d be pissed at Democrats for ditching Harris.

Without that consituency, the Democrat’s coalition is questionable at best.
