I’ve never understood the Grand Solar Minimum argument that it’s going to cause falling temperatures and major drops in agricultural output. After all, The Maunder Minimum didn’t start until 1645 but The Little Ice Age was well underway before then. How does that bolster the argument that reduced sunspot activity will cause temperatures to drop?
