Hi Foodies!
My greetings to all

I am here with a special sweet dish called Ghevar.
Ghevar is mainy associated with the state of Rajasthan. But it is quite popular in Haryana and UP too.

I am basically from Haryana and that's why I perfectly know that Saavan (A month in Hindu calender) the monsoon season is incomplete without Ghevar.
In Haryana this is a tradition that brothers go to their sisters and they take particularly the ghevar with them. So in this season you will find Ghevar everywhere.
I personally love Ghevar and my daughter too eats it fondly.

Ghevar is basically a porous cake made of Maida(refined wheat flour) and and then dipped in sugar syrup. Ghevar is of different types.. One of them is Malai Ghevar. . As the name suggests there is a coating of khoya(made of milk) on the top of Ghevar.
So I am sharing the few clicks of Ghevar which my brother brought for me on this #Teej ( a festival in saavan)

So here are the clicks 馃槉
