About Bel leaves(bel patra) and home made Shivling for Pujaš

Offering of Bel Patra has a much deeper significance in Hindu puja and Rituals. It is used in worship of Hindu dieties especially, ** Lord Shiva**.
The decoration of Shiva at home by flowers, belpatra, dhatura, aak flowers and many more.
Normally a Bilva leaves consists of three small leaves.This leaf which signifies the holy Trinity I.e Brahma, Vishnu, Mahesh(shiva).
This leaf is known to be Shiva's favorite. The Shiva purana claims that this leaf is amongst the six divine articles used to worship Lord Shiva.
It is believed that Bel leaves is so dearest to Lord Shiva because in the Skanda Purana it is mentioned that once ,sweat droplets of Goddesses Parvati(wife of Shiva) once fell and landed on Mandranchal mountain which led to growth of Bel leaves or Bel plant
It is also believed that Goddesses Parvati resides in the Bil tree in all.of her forrms.
Hence it is the easiest way of pleasing Lord Shiva. Belpata carry positive vibes which dispel stress, anxiety and negative energy too.

Pancha dal bel leaves are Bilva patra with 5 leave and it is one of the rarely found leaves. I found one of the pancha Dal Bel patra.

We did puja and offered it to Lord Shiva.
The down pic is 4 leaves bel patra. This leaf is 9 years old. My father laminated it to be safe for years. He do puja of it every single day.
The most valuable thing is making of Parthiva shivLinga one which you make by your own hands and do Puja and worship Him.
It is best to use simple materials around you in nature like clay, mud, rock and sand. While making this Shiva linga we chant OM Namah Shivay.
The height shall be the length of three fingers. I made this from clay and sand. For a devotee nothing is important except his emotion.
