A look through an interstice got,
Of a horde of laborers and drivers in a pub around the stove late of a winter night, and I unremark'd situated in a corner,
Of an adolescent who adores me and whom I cherish, noiselessly drawing nearer and seating himself close to, that he may hold me by the hand,
An extended period of time in the midst of the commotions of going back and forth, of drinking and pledge and obscene joke,
There we two, content, glad in being as one, talking nearly nothing, maybe not a word.....
