Yes the market cap has gone down. But another important point to look at is volume of trading. Volume traded has gone down that means that decrease in crypto asset prices is associated with attitude of indifference. That means that large holders of crypto assets have not parted with their assets. It is only the traders activity.
It is to be interpreted as the downward trend does not have conviction. Hence it is merely a wealth redistribution phase instead of wealth destroying phase.
