Its been a great yet stressful day for me .

Today i am here to share with you all an urgent gown i made for me niece.
I once made an Ankara fabric dress for my sister few weeks ago
According to her she told me that it was a traditional marriage cloth.
I sewed for her for the event,came to pick it and i told her that her fabric had remained.
Jokingly she told me to keep it, probably i will sew it some day for her second daughter.
The fabric was just two yards and some inches.
Well,i kept the fabric and i forgot about it.
But early this morning i saw a text from her telling me that she would love to pick the cloth today
I was shocked and then i called her and she pleaded,if possible she would love to pick the cloth
At first i told her it wasn't possible because it wasn't in my schedule for the day but moment later i told her that i can at least try.

I choosed a style that will be fitting incase there were adjustment in her present measurements.
I made an A cut design,i cut out the front and the back.
And i decided to pleat the down side of it.
I pleated the front and the back and i got organza fabric for the hand sleeve.
I felt it would add more beauty to it and i am glad i did.
And finally the dress was ready,i guess i didn't spent up to three hours for it.
My sister came in the evening time with her kids and her second daughter wore the dress and it fitted just fine.
