Hello everyone and friends of this community,it's with pleasure that i want to share with you some of the things I have been pondering over with during the weekend.
The word timing,is of great important in our world and in our lives.
As christians how do we know the right time to speak and and not to speak.
The bible clearly stated in
James 1:26 (KJV) If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain.
Our religion and what we stand for may be in vain if we brindle not our tongue.
Which means that what we say has a great imfact in determining who we are in Christ.
James 3:2 (KJV) For in many things we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able also to bridle the whole body.
Our words have the capacity to make us a perfect beings
because most time our words are reflections of what's going on in our hearts.
Knowing when to be silence : As christians even when we feel like speaking up,even when we feel right, the timing maybe wrong,it's essential to listen to the holy spirit no matter how right we may feel.
Remember,
James 1:19 (KJV) Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath:
Resisting the temptations of being fast to speak is golden,it can save us from a lot of troubles.
Also, not speaking fast can help us from sining
Proverbs 10:19 (KJV) In the multitude of words there wanteth not sin: but he that refraineth his lips is wise.
Ecclesiastes 3:7 (KJV) A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
Choosing the right words to speak
There are time we don't need to be quiet, because speaking up make give life, peace, joy, encouragement, motivation and healing
words that can edify and ministers grace to the hearers.
Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.
