It was great and i was also bless by the teachings of Bro Eli's messages and i am here to share with you all the lessons i learnt.
The word forgiveness has been a great word in the bible,both Christians and sinners talks about it.
It is important for us to understand and to know the type of sins that we fall into.
In this message,there are two types of sins.
There are sins which are unto death and sins which are not unto death.
It has been biblically proven in the book of
1John 5:16
If any man see his brother sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it.
As Christians what kind of sin are we committing
This teaching isn't giving us reasons to choose a type of sin to commit for we are to be godly and flee from all form of sins.
But if we mistakenly sin against God,from the scriptures we have an advocate which is Christ.
And such sin isn't unto death.
But the sin which is unto death is an intentional, premeditated sin where no circumstances warranted it.
Hebrew 10:26
For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins.
The reasons of Christ forgiveness towards us is to demonstrate how great is his mercies, patience and love is towards us.
Hence,let us present our bodies as a living sacrifice unto God and flee from sin.
Wether it be of unto death or not .
