Hello beautiful people of God, happy weekend to you all,it's an awesome privilege to be alive and well,God is faithful.
There was a time I usually ask this question :
why do bad things happens to good people?
Recently I have learned to relax and let God take the wheel.
I know life may hit us so hard in ways we never excepted
But have you also wondered like I do why certain things happen to good people ?
John 9:3 (KJV) Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him.
Most times it not about what you did wrong or what you did right, just like in the above passage, there are some situations in our lives just for the glory of God to be made manifest.
In Genesis 17:1 (KJV) And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the LORD appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect.
God wanted Abraham to come to the point of blamelessness.
This is a higher level of spiritual growth which we need to reach as christians,so when things don't go on smoothly in our lives,we need to stop worrying, rather,we should aim at reaching a more higher realm or in God.
In all,it is still for his glory.
In Romans 5:3 (KJV) And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;
Yes I understand that there may be situations that are so frustrating that your Christianity may be doubted by others, here is the good news .
God allowed it for us to let go of our timing
and to learn to trust in his own timing.
Humanly,God's timing may seems delayed but the end of it will be better than the beginning.
Job wasn't exempted he tasteth an ugly situation around his life, even his christianity was questioned by his friends.
But his later end was better than his beginning.
Some reasons may not be because of sin,
but it may be for the glory of God.
Therefore, when we are face with afflictions, issues, ugly situation and more ,let us know that it's just for God's glory,he wants to refine us through the. situation ,to teach us more and above all ,for his glory to be seen.
Isaiah 48:10 (KJV) Behold, I have refined thee, but not with silver; I have chosen thee in the furnace of affliction.
It is my earnest desire that, we should stand firm and be able to hold onto God for his Glory to be seen in all cases of our lives.Amen.
