Lessons learnt - should youths be challenged to serve in the ministry?

Firstly it was the topic that got me.

Should youths be challenged to serve in the ministry?

Am glad to share what i have learnt from this video

• I learnt that there are more efficient ways to get youths to serve in the ministry than to challenge youths to serve.
  In Brother Eli Sariano teachings,he mentioned some of the effective ways to help youths to serve and they are:

• To open their mind first,that is,to open their eyes for them to see the reality of what the bible says and the reality surrounding them.

Acts 26:18 (KJV) To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.

I believe this is a greater way to choose because it's fruitless to challenge someone to serve God,when he/she doesn't believe in God.

• The next lesson i learnt was timing:
  In Ecclesiastes 12:1 (KJV)
  Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them;

It's expedient for me as a person and youths to remember God in the days of our youth, because there comes a time where there will be loss of interest in serving God.
And the bible refers to it as evil days,Bro Eli Sariano explained that its the age of dying where there's no pleasure.

In this message he simplified and explained the two types of pleasures.

• The pleasure of sin/flesh:.the pleasure of sin is a temporary pleasure and its offered when we are young.
• The pleasure of God: this is the best type of pleasure in serving God.It comes with joy and peace,its beauty is beyond what we can see and experience,its not a temporary kind of pleasure.
  I believe its life eternal.

Hebrews 11:24 (KJV)
By faith Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter;

Moses is an example of someone who rejected the pleasure of sin and he choosed the pleasure of God.

Challenging the youths to serve in the ministry is not the best but just like Bro Eli said,using word of God as a tool is the most efficient way in opening of the youth's mind in serving God.
