Hello everyone @needleworkmonday,happy new week , it's been a long and hectic weekend for me
I hope yours was great and perfect.
During the weekend i had a whole lot to deal with
But the good thing is that i was able to accomplish alot and i felt good about it.
I am here to share with you all the white gown i made for my church member.
First step
Here are the steps i took and they were really simple
Firstly,i cut out the flare part of it,her length was forty two inches, while her waist was thirty inches
For the back side i did the same thing but i also included the zip allowance by two inches.
Next step
For the second step,i got the fabric and cut out the top part of it ,i had taken her burst, length and waist measurement.i also cut out the neck part of it,i was a round neck design that i used.
For the back part of it i endured that i created zip allowance using two inches for it.
I also made the short puff sleeves for it, elastic was used at the end of it to make it more puffy.
Next step
After sewing through and joining all the pieces together,i got the organza fabric and i created a style with it on the down dress, this came out beautifully well.
And finally i was through with her dress.
She came for it on Saturday evening, she wore it and i am glad it fitted just fine.
