Hello creative of people @diyhub community, today has been a great and satisfying day for me.
I usually feel blessed, satisfied and fulfilled each time am able to put a smile on someone's face.
I guess kindness isn't expensive,it can come from the smallest of things.
Today i want to share with you the the bubu gown i made for a pregnant woman.
She is one of the nicest person i know, always so gentle calm and ever smiling, she lives in my street and when ever i see her along the neighbourhood she is always do happy .
Sometimes,i wonder how a pregnant lady would be so lively, lovely, beautiful and happy, seeing her smiling face is enough to lifts someone's mood.
So today i decided to gift her with a nice gown.
I got my materials ready and of course i choosed a style that would suit her
##Here are the materials i used
The first step i took was to cut out the front side of the dress,i choosed a V- neck style for her.
I wasn't too sure of her exact measurements but since it was to be a free gown,i tried to figure out her size by someone that has her body type.
Moreover i knew that a pregnant lady would expect something bigger, something like a free.big gown..
I hardly see her with a long gown,i guess she wears what she feels comfortable on.
The second part of the steps i took was to cut out the back side of the dress
Which i did and there was no need for zip allowance.
I cut out this parts below because i wanted to used it for the down part of the dress
Finally i joined all the parts together and the gown was ready
When i visited her in the evening she was so surprised how i made it without her measurements
She was grateful for the gown and i am glad she loves it.
