As christians we believe that heaven is our goal,we thrive to make heaven at last.
But I have wondered severally,how it will be when we get to heaven.
How does heaven look like?
I know it's a question we've have asked ourself or others.
Some,have search the scriptures just to understand more of how heaven look like since it's God's home.
From the scriptures,there are parts of the heaven we can go imagine
Because the bible gives some description of it.
Let take a look at the word in
Revelation 4:2-8 (KJV) And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne.And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone: and there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald.And round about the throne were four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold.And out of the throne proceeded lightnings and thunderings and voices: and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God.And before the throne there was a sea of glass like unto crystal: and in the midst of the throne, and round about the throne, were four beasts full of eyes before and behind.And the first beast was like a lion, and the second beast like a calf, and the third beast had a face as a man, and the fourth beast was like a flying eagle.And the four beasts had each of them six wings about him; and they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come.
The above scripture is the story of John and how he discrbed the heaven
• Firstly he saw a throne which was set in heaven
• He saw a rainbow around the throne
• A sea of glass like crystal.
and lot.
Though we do not have the full description of the heaven but I believe with the few descriptions, heaven will be a beautiful place
That's why we wish to be there someday
Romans 8:18 (KJV) For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
Certainly,if we obey Christ teachings and walk in his way the glory of heaven shall be revealed.
All we need to do is to obey God and keep his commandments.
