Jesus cried
WHY DID JESUS CHRIST CRY.
- Jesus wept for their lack of faith. How? He had told them in vs 4 that Lazarus sickness is not unto death but for the demonstration of God's glory.
Hear Martha's welcome address to Jesus Christ in Vs 21 "Lord if your were here earlier, my brother would not have died. Mary said the same thing. They never believed that Jesus would wake Lazarus from sleep of death. Jesus cried because his intimate friends who should have known his miraculous power did not believe.
- Jesus wept because he had compassion on them. Vs 33. When he saw Mary and others weeping, His compassion overtook him and cried with them.
Jesus loves so passionately that he shares in our grieve.
