INCREASE DOES NOT COME JUST BY RECEIVING, INCREASE COMES BY GIVING.
When it comes to giving to God, let no one hear you idly saying- “there is nothing I can give”. There is something you can give! Increase does not come just by receiving, increase comes by giving.
“There is that scattereth and yet increaseth; and there is that withholdeth more than is meet, but it tendeth to poverty”. Proverbs 11:24.
True prosperity begins with giving from that which you have: -
“The liberal soul shall be made fat and he that watereth shall water also himself”. Proverbs 11:25.
Many are occupied with what they don’t have that they have become too occupied to prosper. No matter what it is that you don’t have, there is something you have that can lay out your path to receiving that thing which you don’t have, which you desire.
The littleness of what you have notwithstanding, if you walk in this realm of understanding and step out with what you have, you will enjoy true riches. This is why what you have with you is referred to as a seed. A seed is used to annex a harvest and it can never be the same size as the harvest. Many seek to hoard what they have; they expect it to increase by addition. In God’s arithmetic, it is the reverse, you scatter t increase.
“Give and it shall be given unto you”. Luke 6:38.
To many, it doesn’t sound reasonable and that is why many can’t experience true prosperity, because you cannot locate God by reasoning.

A widow cried unto God’s servant Elisha and told him of the late husband’s creditors who had surfaced to hijack the two sons for the debt Elisha owed. Elisha did not begin to command “manna” from heaven. Elisha asked her –
“what hast thou in the house?”
Elisha realized that the “manna” was in her house and he spoke for the woman to step out with what she had. She said –
“thine handmaid has nothing in the house, save a pot of oil”. 2 Kings 4:2.
That was the beginning of her miracle and she experienced abundance. You too can experience abundance but you need to step out with what you already have.
