Chapter-1
John Wick has a series of 4 movies. Today, we are about to discuss about the first chapter which was released back in 2014.
This movie has a style which just astonishes you. It just takes you deep down the gangster road which has ultimate class yet blood shedding is really frequent. Considering this aspect a person who is into action and thriller should dive into the series.
I had watched the movie six years ago but yesterday before bed I was scrolling through Instagram and a meme appeared of john wick
This was the meme and a sudden urge to watch the movie appeared and I spend my next 1 hour and 45 minutes on Netflix watching it again.
Plot
The movie revolves around a retired gangster called John Wick played by Keanu Reeves who was in grief of her wife dying sick. She left him with a present of a puppy who he falls in love with. He was heading for his usual day driving his vintage mustang and going for a drive with the puppy daisy.
On the gas station he was encountered by three Russian boys who offered to buy his car which he denied to and went back home.
Those three guys invaded John's home that night and killed his puppy, injured john and took away his car.
That was the turning point for John since he had only one hope left after his wife died and that was his dog, after daisy's death he took the retirement back and went into the business.
It turns out that the boy Losef who killed Wick's dog was the only son of Russian mafia leader Viggo Tarasov,played by Michael Nyqvist.
As the story continues, John wick get's back into his old shoes and started a mission to take revenge and kill Losef anyhow. As he executes his plans we get's to see how massive gangster was john wick since everyone in the underworld knew and respected him.
Th crazy part starts when the hunt for Losef began and everyone was trying to save him for the sake of viggo but anyhow he got caught.
The best part
The classic action is stunning. For any one like me who is not even much crazy about action film would love it too. As the actions weren't fake mostly seemed really genuine which bought in the interest and one would love it for sure as it's forte of the movie. The style of gangsta was really classy and bougie.
All kind of weapons were used from guns to swords. There always a thing in action movies which is
so unrealistic that the main character never gets injured in any fight but kills 20-30 men in a go. Here it was so realistic as John got injured many a times and still fought.
The Cast
Each and every member of the cast played their role really well that I can't even imagine them doing anything else but this.
The director Chad Stahelski bought his every character and actor as one in the film and made it a blockbuster.
