Liberty for the individual is heading in that very direction.

I keep hearing that while I watch it heading at an accelerated rate towards total control, trying to invade ones very thoughts to the point one (at least publicly) must call things the opposite of what they are.

So while Trump may be far cry from what I see as a better world - it's the only place to put your money on now ... on what is.

That's the script. They always run one.

McCain vs Obama. Romney vs. Obama. Hillary vs. Trump and now Biden vs. Trump.

In all of those scenarios, the losing side picked one of the worst candidates to help ensure the other sides victory. Trump has a special place though (much like Reagan). He is scripted to look like the one sole leader who will banish this nonsense that seems to mandate large segments of the population to be shunned and ostracized. It has reminded me for years of the Hitler script in regards to Trump. There was a reason the German people embraced Hitler. It had nothing to do with the Jews. They were an occupied country with their values being exchanged for another, the common worker was screwed under their economy etc. In their case, the script of the Treaty pretending to end the first war was in all actuality just a small break to reset for its continuation.

In the case of Trump, I worry that the reaction he will bring to very real wrongs will usher in some practices that will be just as, if not more evil than what it is against. Always seems to be the case for these scripted hero plots once we have the hindsight on the matter.
