Thanks for explaining. While I quickly took a view of Aggroed that wasn't in line with the esteem many hold him in, I never felt one of his flaws was in creating processes that created value for others enough that he could gain wealth through them. I was unaware of any specifics of a poor transition, other than my understanding that he couldn't legally force those he has contracts with to switch from a Steem based structure to Hive. Probably a simplistic understanding, however I never really looked to closely into his gig there as it mostly seemed a bunch of super shit coins being created through it that would never see any real value beyond a pretending a post was receiving more upvote value than it really was. Despite that view, I always thought perhaps if someone had a real use case for them it would serve its purpose.

I really want Hive to succeed, to the extent I've slowly been putting all my eggs in the Hive basket. Am considering finally writing an ebook to publish to help promote the chain, and was wondering if you knew of any posts here (perhaps you wrote them even) that explains in simplistic terms those like myself could understand, or even someones grandma which is about the same, the ways all these logins and such can be used safely, as in why exactly they are safe. I would like my book to be super ignorant friendly, which can be heavily handicapped die to my own ignorance. On a side note of that, I have always shied away from password holders for my browser, feeling they could be exploited. Also not sure of things like Peaklock where it is dependent on one not clearing their cache/cookies. I always clear all that shit, many times per day.

If you don't know of any posts offhand, maybe in the near future you could make one.
