Wow, I envy those of you who can have a garden right now. Can't wait for your posts on your vegetable garden ow that your preparing. I'm hoping to move somewhere that has a yard, but will be to late for a food garden by the time my lease is up here. Thinking of trying my hand at farming, working my way into it with a yard as several nurseries got their start with as well. With the growing probability of food shortages, those of you with gardens will at least be able to eat, if not be heroes to those close to you as well.

I must admit, heights is not one of my favorites. Your son and wife are Craaaaaaazy, lol. I think I would need a rope tied around me that was secured by something that I would know wouldn't let me fall. I wouldn't be able to have watched your son even as he cleaned that window.

I remember you doing a post (forget if it was last year or the year before, how time flies) on putting your garden together. I don't seem to recall the post mentioning any system for water collection, if that is legal in your area. If you didn't have one then, do you have one now? If so, maybe you can do a post on your setup in the future.

Miss having an apple tree. Your kids (all of you really) are lucky. My dad had a huge one on his farm when I was a kid, and there were so many apples for the taking. Every time I buy at the store I appreciate the free ones available back then.
