Beautiful country. I miss living in nature.
It's a shame there is so much importing/exporting going on. This current crises has exposed how to much dependence on other nations leaves one vulnerable in time of crises. They spent decades dismantling our manufacturing base here, destroying the jobs and wages that went with it so a few elite could profit, as well as mask the true inflation they have been causing with their printing press at the central bank.
Sorry, off on a tangent. I would like to think some day I will be able to afford being back in nature again, growing food and letting the societal troubles pass by for the most part.
Good for you getting your legs back. There is a muscle memory, but the older you let yourself get the harder it is to flex. If you haven't heard of them and want a good read/study on activity for health and age longevity, look up the Hunza. They have people in their 80's and 90's who are still more active than many one third of their age in the west.
Read this book many years ago which was an eye opener.
