I thought I had read the Steemit stake was still here, just put into a fund for funding growth of the chain. I think people need to grow up a little (not pointing this at you) and understand that decentralization HAS to take into account differences in stake, wealth, power, whatever the situational dynamic is. There will always be those who have more even in a decentralized environment. We are not all of equal ability, we are not all equally cherished by those around us. There is a reason that nature insists on a form of aristocracy (survival of the fittest acknowledges this).

Will be curious to see how decentralization works as the governments (especially here in the US) clamp tighter. I blogged yesterday about them trying to push a new currency (crypto) on the US with the not so Federal Reserve maintaining (owning) our wallets. There was push back, but its coming and soon.
