I think you are right, yet there is a way out of it that makes this make sense to the outside world. The truth.
The argument this entire time has been the Stinc holdings were supposed to be for development and growth of the chain. The entire premise of freezing Justin Suns holdings were because he was deviating from that path. The entire fork away from the known chain with history and exchange backing to this one shows sincerity already, placing that Steem in question in a fund set aside for exactly what Ned/Steemit had promised rights the wrong that caused the split. Get ahead of this by not only getting in front of it, but proudly proclaiming in legal form (saw some arguing for Ned he never wrote a contract and his many statements and history backing that were not a legal contract) those funds are solely for said purpose. It solidifies all of this.
As for those who were left out of the airdrop, I'm amazed at some of the anger over it. Before this all became divided, I don't believe I had ever voted for more than 7 witnesses. I didn't like many I knew of, and most i knew nothing about. However, once Sun announced he was killing the chain I moseyed my ass to that witness list and used all 30 to help at least buy us time.
Choices are made, and if one is hedging their bets or going all in on one side, don't expect the same initial benefits those who went all in get. It's not like they aren't welcome here or can't buy in. They just don't get rewarded as they decided not to have skin in the game. Sounds harsh, but thats life. It would diminish the actions of those all in on the side of the community to reward those not all in.
Glad to see you here. It's those like yourselves fault I am even here. It really is about the community. Thankful you are part of mine.
