Back when I researched religion, I was surprised to read the definition of soul was breath. It made me wonder how so many ministers of the Christian faith could hold the views they have on plants and the other animals. I have heard more than a few ministers claim that only humans have souls. Blind leading the blind.

Appreciate the response. I hadn't come across/connected breath being tied to inspiration, despite that being an obvious connection. Will give this some thought.
