Until recently (from another post of yours) I didn't know much about this. Still ignorant for the most part, but from checking I can say Tesla. Appreciated for more than his genius, the way he was unrelenting in his battle with Edison. Edison was the monopoly, and he persevered. It is worth noting he did not become rich from his (many) gifts to us, which is a shame. A testament to power structures working to keep the status quo. I have deep respect for Tesla that his idea of a successful structure was not just his invention, but its mass adoption for the benefit of many. I could go on about him, but what a gift to us his genius is.

For what it's worth, a lifetime ago when I read comics as a kid, Batman was one of my top favorites.
