Hello everyone 😻,
Happy Monday 🎉 and a very warm welcome to my report. It's a new week, a new month and I woke up feeling upbeat 💯. Thank you for reading and hopefully your day has gone well too.
Let's quickly take a look at mine went including the trending stories that caught my eye 👀.
So I started my day with a short walk in the morning hours, I did need something from the grocery and was barely out for twenty minutes.
During the day I followed up on trending stories, watched some crypto youtube and also something on X.
My last walk of the day, was around the neighborhood at sunset 🌄. The sun 🌞 was with a cool breeze.
So what's been trending, In Gaza the mass murder continued as Israel killed 59 Palestinians😿 in the ongoing relentless bombing of Gaza city. That whole city is to be seized and displace lose to a million Palestinians🙀.
Meanwhile, the hunger and starvation kept going. The school year has began but thousands of Gaza children have no schools to go to, the order of life is running for their lives while trying to find something to eat🙀.
The International Association of genocide scholars say Israel's actions in Gaza meet legal definition of a genocide. The Association says displacement, deliberate starvation and mass killings are acts that constitute genocide.
Next, Afghanistan trending as a devastating earthquake near the city of Jalalabad killed close to 800 people😿.
The figure expected to rise as rescue and recovery operations are underway. Most remote villages are yet to be reached due to damage of the road network🙀.
Not far off, China trending as that business summit in Tianjing kept going. Close to 20 world leaders in attendance including Putin, Modi and Turkish president too.
Across the pond in the US, thousands of people skipped Labour Day celebration to protest against billionaire influence in govt. Demonstrators called for stronger work protection, fully funded schools and universal healthcare💯.
Next door, Mexico will be swearing in judges who were elected by popular vote today. This seen as a reform of the judicial system, and the first country in the region to have judges elected by the public.
Finally, Liverpool have signed striker Alexander Isak from Newcastle United for a British record transfer fee of £125m, with the Swede saying he "wanted to create history and win trophies" at Anfield.
Oh wow, congratulations to him and Liverpool, can't wait for next games🎊🎉..
So that's it, let's touch base again tomorrow on a fiery Tuesday. Until then stay safe, take care and adios ❤️ Hakuna Matata 😻💯.
